All three bags are beautifully made, using top notch construction materials and methods, and have an assortment of practical and innovative features. As to which one is appropriate, it simply depends on your situation and level of gear.

The Lowepro Apex 140 is perfect when you have limited space or when you don’t need to carry around all your gear.

The Tamrac Pro 8 would suit the more traditional photographer, with classic styling and a very sensible design.

The Crumpler Photo is aimed distinctly at the younger market, with a little more attention being paid to looks and style than practical design. All in all, three damn good bags.
