Fuji S9500.
If you can find a pre-owned unit, it is well worth the effort.
This camera offers so much more than the pocket 'super zooms', and should be seriously considered against the more expensive true DSLRs. This is not a camera for the 'point and shoot' brigade.
Find a specifications list for this camera, and then compare it's abilities against the price. You'll be surprized how much is packed into this unit.
