Drool... Hopefully these cameras are the of the end of the megapixel race and the start of the "biggest sensor" race. It's certainly the logical thing to use the moore's law improvements in chip technology to drive down cost and increase chip size rather than cramming more megapixels on. I think that means we can expect cameras of this quality for half the price in 18 months time. In 3 years they'll be at the price point of premium compacts.

Looks like a decent camera. Pity they couldn't have added full HD rather than 720p, but perhaps we'll see full HD filter down to cameras like this, as well as the compacts, next year.

wouldn't be suprised if it cost more than the olympus, but heres me hoping for a sub £400 price tag...
