In Canada, they sell for 1500$ canadians.
Reading the latest specs. It has autofocus in real time during video recording.
This is the return of Pentax's hotness

And some 'weather-resistant' lenses, I understand. Hopefully, Pentax are finally waking up! Now, if a full-frame Pentax arrives then the piggy-bank gets it's!

Very nice looking camera, pity the price is so high...

Splogbust, IMO Pentax woke up a while ago, producing cameras like the K100d, K10d and K20d which were not only extremely good but also extremely good value. Unfortunately most consumers did not wake up to that fact (as with Olympus) and never looked beyond the biggest (and most heavily advertised) brands. Unlike some of the more zealous Pentax fans I won't bite your head off for wanting a full-frame Pentax - I can certainly see the advantages - but I think there's still some way to go in terms of increasing market share before they seriously consider a full-frame model.
The K7 looks truly great (and I'm glad to see pixel count hasn't increased; hopefully they've been focusing on improving other areas instead). I want one now... unfortunately I like having a roof over my head more. :(

It is quite unlikely to see a Full Frame Pentax dSLR because the system itself is optimized for APS-C format. The sharpess lens are mostly the DA* (16-50 2.8, 50-135 2.8, 200 2.8) which are completely optimized for cropped. Going Full Frame would be the most stupid move Pentax can do right now. Besides, Full Frame is overrated and of too lower end for Pentax. Pentax thinks higher, say the Pentax 645 Digital Medium Format ^^.

I have a K20D and I'm waiting for the new K7. By the specs must be a great one!

Looks very nice - I wonder how much manual control (if any) you will get in video mode.
