About 1280x720, I agree to John, it is HDTV, but not full HD.

Ughh. I see Nikon are jumping on the spec and model number pushing bandwagon, no doubt due to pressure from Canon (and ill-informed consumers). It's like when Intel pushed the GHz figures and AMD had to introduce the xxxx+ models to look competitive.
