If all that wasn’t enough, Fujifilm has also launched a new compact camera at the show. The FinePix F60fd replaces the slightly disappointing F50fd in Fuji’s model range. The new camera shares the same body design and many of the same features as the camera it replaces, with the same 12MP Super CCD HR VII sensor and a 3x zoom lens (35-105mm equiv.) but it gains dual sensor-shift image stabilisation and a larger 3.0-inch LCD monitor.

It also features full manual exposure control and an even more sophisticated face detection system (v3.0, for those of you keeping count at home) that can recognise faces from above and below as well as in profile, and the same ISO range of 100 – 6400 as the F50fd. The F60fd is available this month, and some retailers are currently listing it at £192, although that will probably come down.
