Panasonic Announces Eight New Compact Cameras

Lumix DMC-LZ8 and LZ10
Two more new models with some interesting features are the 8.1-megapixel DMC-LZ8 and 10.1-megapixel DMC-LZ10. Both feature 5x zoom lenses with wider than average wide-angle ends, 30-150mm in the case of the LZ10 and 32-160mm for the LZ8.


Powered by AA batteries, both cameras feature Mega OIS optical image stabilisation, 2.5-inch 230k LCD monitors and the ability to shoot widescreen WVGA (848 x 480) video at 30fps. Other noteworthy features include ultra-fast shutter response and 6400 ISO maximum sensitivity.
