Coming in at the bottom of the PowerShot range is the entry-level A470. It has a pretty decent spec for a budget camera, with a 7.1-megapixel CCD sensor, 2.5-inch 115k LCD monitor and DIGIC III image processing, as well as the same motion detection system, enhanced face detection and automatic red-eye correction as the other three new models.


The A570 is available in a range of four colours (Silver, Blue, Red and a particularly lurid Green), and hits the stores in March, priced at a tempting £109.00.
