Kodak has announced the launch of two new all-in-one inkjet printers in its EasyShare digital photography product range. The EasyShare 5300 will be priced at £139, while the 5500 will be £209.

Thanks to Kodak’s new partnership with DSG International PLC the 5300 will be available exclusively through all PC World, Currys and Currys.digital outlets, while the 5500 will be available from all PC World and selected Currys Digital stores, both from June 2007. Online shoppers will also be able to purchase the printers from pcworld.co.uk and currys.co.uk and the Kodak Store at www.kodak.co.uk.

Both models use Kodak’s low-cost pigment-based ink, priced at £6.99 for a cartridge of black ink and £9.99 for a five-ink colour cartridge. When used with the Kodak Photo Value Pack this can mean 6x4-in prints for as little as 7p each.
