For a lot of manufacturers and retailers, Black Friday is a great way to shift inventory of previous-generation, or soon to be replaced products.
It’s not often you see a killer deal for a recently-released, well-reviewed product like the Sonos One speaker.
The Alexa-enabled (Google Assistant is coming in 2018 too) is about to go on sale for $175 on Sonos’ website in the United States.

The deal, which commences at midnight local time on November 23, offers $25 off the asking price for the speaker, which was released less than a month ago.
We recently gave the Sonos One a 9/10 rating, praising it for the great sound, practical size and proper Alexa integration.
Our reviewer wrote: “The Sonos One sounds great, it gives you access to a tried-and-tested multiroom ecosystem, and it is beautifully integrated with the super-useful Amazon Alexa assistant. If you crave AI convenience and you’re not willing to sacrifice sound quality, this is what you need.”
Elsewhere, Sonos is offering discounts on a host of its most popular products.
The classic Sonos Play:1 (effectively a Sonos One without Alexa) will be $50 off at $149. The higher-end Sonos Play:3 is going to be $249 instead of $299.
For those seeking a home entertainment deal, both the supreme Sonos Playbar and Playbase are down from $599 (from $699) as part of the event.
All five deals commence at the same time. The Sonos One, Playbar and Playbase offers will run until November 27, while the Play:1 and Play:3 offers will run until supplies last.
