AMD Phenom II X4 810 and X3 720 BE Comments

hello to the TR team, after reading about the 720 on various other websites I was waiting for TR to do an article before deciding whether or not to take the plunge. What motherboard would be best to go with the 720? is it better to go AM2+ or get a brand new AM3 based motherboard?
