AMD Less Unprofitable This Year Comments

As someone who lost his little business after the big Foot and mouth epidemic, these sort of number in $'billion losses make me wince! - The investors are clearly in this for the long haul ( unlike the banks I dealt with LOL) and must have a great deal of faith in AMD to ride out the coming global economic storm as we all save buying a new CPU, GPU etc., etc., till later. Or, maybe, the investors just can't afford to withdraw?
