There seems to be a very obvious copy and paste on the 2nd place photo. Sorry to say as it's so apparent for me it devalues it some what.

There were a few similar comments posted last month to be honest, the rules do state this; "You can edit, improve or alter your photo in any way you like" and it is a "Digital" photo competition.
I hear both sides of this argument; I really do, but I do think people have to accept that some completions allow heavy editing and others don't. This is clearly the former.

trained_KILLA - It looks like your training was incomplete. Two minutes looking for "Longships lighthouse" in Google image search would have told you that you're wrong, that's what it actually looks like, shot most likely from the beach at Sennen Cove. Also I have the larger original image that Mark Stokes sent in, and I can detect no traces of cut & paste. He might have softened the lighthouse slightly, but as Steve Ayres points out, digital editing of images is expressly permitted in the entry conditions.
