More exotic wildlife, this time of the primate variety, from Richard Koizumi of Tokyo, Japan. Richard shot this on his Nikon D70s, using a 70-200mm lens at near maximum zoom, with an exposure of f/4.5 at 1/80th of a second. A nice simple shot, but perfectly composed and with lots of character.

Some of our native wildlife this time, but sadly a rare sight these days is this Red Squirrel, shot here by another previous prize winner, Lee Myers of Hull, UK. Lee has used a Nikon D40x and 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 lens at full zoom, with an exposure of f/5.6 at 1/30th of a second.

London is home to a surprisingly divers array of wildlife. In this shot from Rolfe Markham who lives in London, deer in Richmond Park are sharing their space with some aerial wildlife. Rolfe is clearly pretty serious about his photography, since he shot this on a Canon EOS 5D with an EF 100-400mm zoom. The exposure was f/10 at 1/500th of a second and 500 ISO.
