And so to our finalists. First up is this good night-time shot of the Christmas lights of his home city of Hong Kong from Alan Ng. Alan wins a 1GB SD card for his Nikon D40x and a £25 voucher from Photobox.

Chris Mole of West Sussex wins a 1GB Compact Flash card for his Canon EOS 20D, and a £25 Photobox Voucher to go with the card reader he won in our June competition. I really like this nice simple shot of a Citroen 2CV being used as a wedding car in Toulose, France.

Our first prize winner this month is Clovis Miranda of Cuiaba, Brazil, with this unusual but excellent photo that captures the spirit of a celebration, with champagne glasses raised and confetti flying. Clovis wins a 2GB PNY SD card and a £50 voucher from Photobox.
