The theme of the competition was "sport & recreation", but surprisingly few of the submissions were of anything other than sport. Music can be a recreational activity too, and it is nicely captured in this imaginative multi-exposure image from Jamie O'Hanlon of Lewes, UK.

Another non-sporting recreational activity is captured here by Nathaniel Gonzales of Oxford, UK. I believe the aerobatic display team is the world-famous Frecce Tricolori of the Italian Air Force.

Our final runner-up for this month is this amusing photo taken in the Las Ventas Bullring, Madrid, and submitted by Nick Board of Reading, UK. Nick is a regular entrant to our photography competition, and was also one of the runners-up in August.
