Jon Speed of Nottingham, UK, was one of our prize winners last month, and has submitted another cracking photo this month, taken at the National Watersports Centre, which is located in his home city. This was one of several excellent kayaking photos we received.

As I mentioned in the introduction, we received two photos of Scottish caber-tossing, of which the best was this entry sent in by Richard Koizumi and taken (oddly enough, considering the subject) in his home city of Tokyo, Japan. Richard submitted one of the runners-up photos last month as well, so keep up the good work!

We only received one photo of competitive shooting, which is surprising considering the popularity of the sport, but at least our solitary entry was a good one, a striking high-contrast black-and-white image from Lee Myers of Hull, UK.
