You left out the most important part of a printer review. Ink being the most expensive item of any printer. Considering there are just 2 cartridges, will the printer still function when one has gone empty?

You can print black and white or greyscale when the colour has run out but otherwise you'll need to replace the cartridges when they run out.

This may seem like a silly question but Is the Printer compatible with Apple products?

This printer is probably the worst ink eater I have ever owned. If there is a utility included in the software I can't find it, so cannot figure out what's wrong, and when it is refusing to scan because the ink has run out, again, Canon have developed the software so it is impossible to scan via anything else on my Mac. It is also impossible to refill yourself. In a market full of shoddy plastic ink eaters this must be one of the worst.
