I would like to know if the reviewer and i are using the same camera really. This camera is always out of focus, when you zoom in bright daylight or in a low light area you get the lens flickering or struggling to how is it possible that you are giving this 8 out 10?
I am just an amateur but i can tell when a camera is poor at recording.even when you disable auto focus (which is not straightforward ).i have returned mine and a lot of people have replied to me on amazon saying it is a flaw in the camera lens.please explain your review if it's the same camera.

I too can't believe how bad this camera is. The picture quality is awful - not sharp - bad colour balance - overexposed. I'm no novice - and have been using Canon SLRs for years so I thought I'd be safe buying this. Bought it Saturday - I'm taking it back on Monday.

sounds like you have a faulty one. or one of teh settings is on something weird. The 220 isnt a perfect camera but its better than the one you are describing ...
