Shame about the popup flash which pops up at the most ridiculous and inappropriate times! Example, long distance panoramic shot ?! Sure, you can kill this on programme settings but sometimes a quick capture shot demands auto setting and thence allows the auto flash to become a pest. That apart, tempting spec

Have some sense! Either just push the flash down again, or right next to the auto setting on the main wheel is "auto but no flash". FFS if you can't find this then you don't deserve a DSLR.

lol i totally agree and id even take it further and say if he's shoorig on Auto he doesn't deserve a a dslr at all IMO

Why do you need to 'quick capture' when your taking a long distance panoramic shot??? Taking landscape pictures is when you have the most time to frame and set the shot.
