I think HMX20 is attractive cam with good price. It offers easy interface and powerful features; 2.7" Touch screen (just operated by finger touch), 1080p FullHD resolution and still camera mode, slow motion video at 300fps (really nice to review recorded footage).
Plus, 6.4Mpixel sensor and 10xoptical zoom is not bad. Also, Memory capability is expandable (8GB internal memory & SDHC/MMC+ card slot). Good shape (swivel grip) of cam.

This is a good thing, because samsung are following the ISO/IEC MPEG-4 Part 10 standard which AVCHD certainly is not.
It's a shame that AVCHD breaks the standards just to be compatible with recording on dvd's.

Nice review, looks like a nice camera. I like the fact that they label it as having a "HD lens". i.e. the lens can resolve 2MP images - wow!!
