Editing with Windows Movie Maker - Part 1 Comments

I have just bought a Sony hard disc handycam (DCR-SR75) and am trying to make a film using windows movie maker. But when I import files from Sony Picture Motion Browser WMM changes them to audio files. So I can hear but have no picture. What can I do about this?

I have the same problem tried everything I can think of but no luck. Can someone help.
