If you've ever bemoaned the range of your high definition camcorder then Panasonic might have the answers for you. Debuting at CES 2009 this year, the company has announced three new models, the SDR-H80, SDR-H90 and the SDR-S26 that feature a massive 70x optical zoom lens - say goodbye to pixelated digital zoom!

Aside from this, the H90 features an 80GB hard drive and the H80 a 60GB one (both pictured above), while also offering SDHC card support for back-up. Naturally, given the massive zoom range, they both offer optical image stabilisation and they also utilise Panasonic's excellent Intelligent Auto shooting system.

Meanwhile, the SDR-S26 (pictured above) has all the same features, but has no hard drive so is much smaller than the other two. This will also be available in a range of colours, as will the H80, though the H90 will only come in black.

Correct me if I'm wrong but none of these camcorders are actually High Definition. Check out Panasonic's web site for yourself
