If you thought the Oregon Scientific ATC5K was impressively rugged, then check out Predator Technology's Predator VX360. Not only does the VX360 look pretty damn cool (and have an awesome name), but it also offers an impressive feature set.

A pretty neat idea is separating the camera itself, which boasts an anti-fogging system, from the recording unit. That is likely a contributing factor in the systems rigidity, as the recording box can be beefed up more than if it had to be, say, helmet mounted. The recording unit sports a 2.4in colour screen, allowing easy reviewing of recorded footage, and can also be connected to a TV for direct playback, or a PC via USB.

The VX360 records onto SDHC cards, up to 8GB in capacity and a 2GB card is included in the £549.99 package. Alongside this, the camera and the recording unit are a slew of attachment mechanisms such as arm bands, headbands and adhesive pads.
If you're looking for a camcorder to help show off you 'mad skillz' this might just be it.
