Bosch Classixx WTE84105
With a B Class energy efficiency rating it’s not the most eco-friendly appliance on the market, but then again it’s not going to cost you the earth in electricity bills either. It also has a 7kg drum capacity which should make it capable of drying the washing of an average family, or the washing that comes out of an average modern washing machine.
The sensor drying capabilities of the Bosch Classixx WTE84105 monitors the moisture of the clothes and in the drum to tell when the clothes are dry. At this point it just stops drying. This is extra handy as it means you don’t have to keep setting the dryer to certain times, hoping that it’ll be dry by the end of that timeframe and then re-setting it when they’re still damp — you can just bung the clothes in and leave it. It also adjusts the heat of the Bosch Classixx WTE84105 depending on the clothes inside, so you don’t have to worry about the clothes shrinking.
However, this is a bit risky to use and sometimes the clothes remain damp even when the sensor has suggested they’re dry. If you’d rather use timed programmes the Bosch Classixx WTE84105 has several of those too.
A simple device to use and on one which works fairly quickly, the big drum fitted to the Bosch Classixx WTE84105 means you don’t have to do multiple loads of washing as it all just fits inside. It can be a bit noisy, though, so a quieter model might be advised if you have an open plan living area. The Bosch Classixx WTE84105 isn’t a cheap machine by any standard, but it dries adequately and looks good.
