Google Nexus 10

Best 10-inch Android Tablet

Key features:
  • 10.55-inch, 2,560 x 1,600 resolution display
  • 16/32GB storage (non-expandable)
  • Powered by 1.7GHz ARM Cortex A15 dual-core processor

For the Nexus 7’s bigger brother, Google decided to swap Asus for Samsung to build the 10-inch Android tablet that costs from £319. Slimmer and lighter than the iPad before the iPad Air, the Wi-Fi only Nexus 10 features a 10-inch 2,560 x 1,600 resolution display with an iPad-beating 300 ppi to deliver excellent clarity levels.

A 5-Megapixel rear-facing camera and 1.9-Megapixel front camera takes care of pic-grabbing while a 9,000 mAh polymer battery should keep you browsing and gaming going for up to seven hours.

An LG-built sequel to the Nexus 10 continues to be rumoured, but for now the current Nexus 10 is still a great big Android tablet even if it's overdue an update.

Price: £250
