The selfie generation called and HTC answered. The HTC Desire EYE
is the first phone to feature identical, high-spec front and back cameras to make your selfies as shareable as possible. Not only is the front-facing camera a 13-megapixel beast, but it's also joined by a two-tone flash, for improved low-light vanity shots.
Although sold primarily off the back of this feature, the HTC Desire EYE is actually a very good all-rounder. Its performance is excellent, its 5.2-inch, 1,920 x 1,080 screen is sharp and it looks pretty smart too, even if it lacks the premium metal finish of the HTC One M9.
The Snapdragon 801 processor and 2GB of RAM inside means it can handle high-end games without breaking sweat. All that and this phone is also water-resistant, without the need for any annoying flaps to cover the ports, making it even easier to use than the likes of the Sony Xperia Z3.
If you find yourself snapping yourself a lot, then the HTC Desire EYE is the phone for you.
