TomTom's GO LIVE 1005 World costs around £30 more than the European edition, but you get a lot of extras for your money. The ability to post your ETA to your destination on Twitter is the most talked about feature, but you also get maps for the US, Canada, Southern Africa, Southeast Asia and Australasia, on top of the European ones, plus TripAdvisor and Expedia services. So if you do travel it's well worth considering.
