We pick out the best titles to launch on the PlayStation Network this year for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita

In the year since the PS4 launch, Sony has really pushed the indie scene for its newest console. Of course, the breadth of new indie titles on PSN also has a positive knock-on effect for the PS3 and PS Vita, too.

So if you're looking for something other than the top-dog best PS4 games, the PSN is a store full to the brim with great titles to explore.

PlayStation owners are lucky to have such a vast number of games available on the PlayStation Store, so sometimes it's helpful to have someone to do the trawling for you.

We've picked out our favourite games to launch only on the digital storefronts, to give you something a bit different to play this Christmas.

Here's our pick of the best:

Don't Starve by Klei Entertainment

Minecraft by Mojang

Race the Sun by Flippfly LLC

The Swapper by Curve Digital

The Unfinished Swan by Giant Sparrow

Trine Bundle by Frozenbyte

Child of Light by UbiArt

Outlast by Red Barrels Studios

Resogun by Housemarque and Climax Studios

Tales from the Borderlands by Telltale Games

Valiant Hearts: The Great War by UbiArt

Game of Thrones by Telltale Games

Entwined by PixelOpus

Never Alone by Upper One Games

Hopefully that'll scratch your indie-gaming itch, but if there's a great game we've missed out, please feel free to add it in the comments below.
