It wouldn't be a Nintendo console without Link so it's no surprise to see The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds added to the list of games that are essential for 3DS owners. Heading back to the land of Hyrule there’s new 3D graphics and some bold new twists to go with the familiar Zelda gameplay.
The look and feel clearly pays homage to the 1992 SNES classic A Link to the Past. Link now has greater freedom to roam dungeons, can transform into a 2D drawing to get through tricky areas and jump in and out of Lorule, a darker mirror image of Hyrule. There’s enough to keep Zelda fans happy and plenty of new gamplay elements to keep things fresh and make this one of the standout 3DS games of last year.
