Dell Latitude 13 7000 Series

Originally reviewed by Mike Jennings 16 January 2015

Best 13-inch Windows Hybrid

Key Features:
  • 800MHz, Intel Core M-5Y10 with 4GB RAM
  • Detachable 13-inch, 1,920 x 1,080 IPS tablet
  • Dual batteries, Dual-band 802.11ac Wi-Fi
The Dell Latitude 13 7000 is one of the first Intel Core M products we’ve seen. Its 800Mhz Core M processor may sound slow, but it performs better than previous-generation processors and remains incredibly cool and quiet.

Battery life is excellent at over ten hours of mixed use, while the tablet segment on its own lasts six hours. If you do run out when using it as a tablet, just connect it to the keyboard segment, which has its own battery built in.

Overall, the Latitude 13 7000 is a great hybrid and a promising sign of what’s possible thanks to Intel’s new Core M processors.

Price: From £1,200
