- Weighs 1.1kg
- Quality Full HD screen
- Top-notch performance
Lenovo is back with a bang. Its Ideapad 710S is one of the best-value ultrabooks we've reviewed this year, undercutting both the Dell XPS 13 and MacBook Air while providing better performance. There's an Intel Core i5-powered model for £699 and the Core i7 version we reviewed for £799.
Just because it's cheap doesn't make it flimsy. While it doesn't reach the dizzying heights of the MacBook Air or Dell XPS 13, its 1.1kg weight and partially metal body feel great all the same.
The Full HD screen, too, is very good and above average for the money.
Performance is snappy thanks to a fast SSD and a great processor. Battery life is reasonable at around eight hours. This is a great buy.
