Based on Sonos's own system, the Play:3 gives you access to many online services including Spotify, Napster and Deezer. This is the most affordable addition to the manufacturer's mulit-room range which, for £249, is excellent value. A lack of auxiliary-in audio the panel felt was a missed trick, but considering its size, the sound quality is fantastic. Controlled with an Android/iPhone/iPad app, the Play:3 offers features unmatched by its two rivals in this category.
