The AKG Q701 headphones have certainly benefitted from their association with the music producer Quincy Jones. Their open-backed design adds significantly to the quality of well-mastered tracks with everything from Frank Zappa to Creedence Clearwater Revival producing wide, flat and accurate sounds. The 'suspended' design and leather-clad ear pads ensure that the Q701s are very comfortable, even after hours of listening, and ensure their inclusion as one of the best headphones of 2011.
