If you’re familiar with the Elder Scrolls series, Skyrim needs no introduction: it’s more of the same as 2006’s award-winning Oblivion, but better in every way, making it arguably the best RPG of the year. For those not in the know, this is a sand-box role-player with a vast living and breathing world that you can fully explore when and how you want. It features dynamic real-time combat, can be played from a first or third-person perspective, and offers a versatile levelling system that adapts both skills and enemies to your play-style. If you've ever wanted to live in a fantasy realm, Skyrim is the closest you’ll get.
