A perfect fit for amateur film-makers, the Canon Legria HF G30 is a great entry-level professional camcorder. Pricey at £1,141.96, the G30 can shoot in Full HD and has a comprehensive list of manual settings including a lens ring to operate zoom or the focus. Based around Canon’s Advanced HD CMOS Pro to deliver the enhanced video performance, it also offers a hybrid of optical and digital stabilizations to keep footage looking smooth. There’s support for AVCHD and MP4 shooting modes and crucially image quality is excellent helping to justify the hefty price tag.

This is an excellent piece of kit. We bought one recently and took it to Italy. I use a Canon 50D for stills and my wife was using this for stills and video. The stills quality was better than I though it would and the video quality is unbelievabe.

Does anyome know of a media streamer that will partner it???? At this point I am just looking for a streamer that excels with video. If it's good for audio than that will save me buying a Sonos later.
