Best Android Tablet for WorkKey features:
- 10.1-inch, 1,280 x 800 IPS screen
- Quad-core Intel Atom Z3745 CPU
- Removable keyboard dock
A hybrid for less than £200 doesn’t come around too often, but that’s exactly what the Asus Transformer Pad TF103
is. While it’s by no means perfect, it’s as cheap as chips and functions as a great complement to a main laptop.
The tablet alone is chunkier and heavier than we’re used to in this day and age, at 10mm thick and 550g. However, the soft-touch plastic makes it nice to hold in two hands. When combined with the plastic keyboard dock, it weighs a MacBook Air-equalling 1.1kg and really looks the part.
The 10.1-inch, 1,280 x 800 IPS display is disappointing, however. It’s grainy, with images looking pixelated and washed out. Viewing angles are good though. Performance is far better, with high-end games running fairly well.
Seeing a laptop running Android might freak you out at first but, for £180, the Transformer is an excellent little device. Price:
