I had the previous version of this monitor which suffered badly from PWM and gave me headaches needless to say I returned it. However they stated that was PWM free also so I wouldn't trust their PR.

Anyone who has any experience of gaming or watching movies on this one?
I'm not an FPS-fan (games), so the low fps doesn't bug me :)

Low-resolution at large size .. so why did you gave it 9.5 rating !!

isn't this a problem when you zoom-in?

Zoom in? I don't follow.

In any case, at this price you can't really complain about the resolution I don't think.

Just sit a bit further away from the panel. Human visual acuity is strongly dependent upon distance. If you sit a bit further away the higher pixel pitch won't seem any different than a denser pixel pitch closer.

This panel has very low input lag but some motion blur.

If the monitor is advertised by BenQ as PWM-free then it is PWM-free. Maybe the place you bought it from made an error.

No review site has ever found evidence for your claim.

If you have some actual evidence then post it. "Wrong" doesn't qualify.

Well PWM monitors give me terrible headaches and I tried 3 of the same so called PWM free monitors from BenQ and they all had flicker. Many other people experienced the same issue hence my original comment and its 18 upvotes.

The only errors were BenQ's advertising and your assumptions.

thinking of buying one of these. anyone knwo if it would look ok sat a metere away from it?

What a crushing blow delivered there in that last sentence. I can see the gore from here. How long did you sit there smirking to yourself before moving on? You have too many friends to count, I'd imagine...

OH! Also, great monitor. Best PWM free monitor for the price, by far.

There really are some strange people on these boards you should fit in well.

I just bought this monitor (yet to be delivered) and will let you know about gaming. But it has a low lag better than the ASUS MX279H so should be pretty good for gaming. Anyway it will be light years ahead of what it's replacing.

The only way to get a supper fast response time for gaming is to go back to a TN panel. But for combination gaming and entertainment this should be really great for the price.

I have the same issue with terrible headaches from flickering screens. and this one has been a bliss for me until i upgraded the size:)
