Beko TZDA568F

The Beko TZDA568F is a tall, slim build upright freezer, one of the slimmest on offer, yet it does not sacrifice space, having a 198 litre capacity, more than enough for the average family’s frozen food shopping. The freezer is separated into eight separate compartments, for easy division of different foods. The two bottom drawers are deeper to accommodate more bulky items. This freezer also comes with a slimline ice tray for making and storing ice cubes.

The freezer is rated four star, allowing it to store food for up to a whole year, and it has Fast Freeze capability, to quickly cool unfrozen foods, keeping them fresher for longer. It scores the highest energy efficiency rating of 'A', meaning the power consumption will be low, and it is Frost Free, so you will never have to go through the hassle of defrosting this freezer.

This freezer can be used in low ambient temperatures, so it is ideal for use in garages or sheds, but the motor runs at a quiet 42db, and it comes with adjustable front feet, so it will equally suit being kept indoors. The door is reversible, meaning it can be opened from the left or right hand side of the unit, making this, all in all, a very versatile freezer.

The slimline design of the Beko can also cause difficulties, however. Being only 54cm across, the compartments are not particularly wide, meaning trays of food or other wide items may not fit, and having eight compartments means the top three are rather shallow.

If this does not bother you, though, the Beko TZDA568F is a great purchase. Available in silver or white, with an elegant fixed door handle, it is an attractive and functional appliance that can be easily manoeuvred into tight spaces.
