The first thing that you notice about the Beko Leisure GR6GVCP is that it looks great. Appearing as a cross between traditional and modern models, the Beko's doors remind you of country cooker whilst a smooth black finish ensures the unit wouldn’t look out of place in any bachelor pad. The overall effect is quirky but lovely.

Combining a gas oven with a gas hob, there are four separate burners on the hob, all of which are easy to light. The burners are of different sizes so you can match your pan size to your burner. If you do this the heat is distributed better and the pan heats up evenly and therefore cooks efficiently helping you save money on your energy bills.

With the grill located above the oven, GR6GVCP's cooks excellently with a nice strong flame ensuring an even finish. Bolstering the unit's abilities, this grill can also double up as a conventional oven with the twin oven options proving extremely handy when attempting a big cook across a range of temperatures, such as when cooking a Sunday roast.

Despite this dual functionality, it is the bottom oven that plays host to the most interesting features with a roasting pan connected to the door on a suspended shelf. This means you don’t have to keep picking up a hot tray to see how your cooking is doing — you can just swing the door open, check it and swing it closed again. If you don’t want to use this tray (it does take up oven space if you’re not using it) it can simply be unscrewed.

As a plus the Beko Leisure GR6GVCP main oven has a slow cooker mode, which is useful for making stews, casseroles or slow-roasting meat. Ironically one of the main complaints against the Beko Leisure GR6GVCP is that it takes a long time to heat up and then doesn’t get quite so hot so food has to be left in there for longer.
