The Beko LA120 is a small, freestanding upright fridge which will happily fit under the kitchen counter, making it ideal for small kitchens or flats where there’s not much space.
With a 130 litre capacity, the Beko LA120 is ideal for smaller households of perhaps two or three people. If you need your fridge to cope with a weekly shop for a family look elsewhere, as the Beko LA120 just isn’t designed for such heavy usage.
The fridge has three glass shelves, each of which is adjustable and can be fully removed if you have something really big to put in your fridge. There’s also a salad crisper underneath the bottom shelf, which has plenty of room and should keep produce fresher for longer. The door has three balconies, which are not adjustable, and there is unfortunately no dairy box.
The fridge is built with a high energy efficiency rating of 'A', and can automatically defrost itself, if there is ever any frost build-up. The light in the fridge works well, as long as it is not obscured by any large items on the top shelf. The outside of the fridge will not win any prizes for design innovation, but it is clean and simple, with integrated flush door handles and a choice of white and silver colours. The door can be reversed, so that it opens from the right rather than the left too, which is a handy feature.
Besides the lack of a dairy box, the only other downsides to this fridge are that it is slightly noisy, and the door balconies are rather narrow. If these two issues do not bother you, however, this is a great little fridge, with a decent amount of storage space and a reliable build quality.
