Watch the first unboxing of the Nexus 5X and Nexus 6P

The Nexus 5X and the Nexus 6P smartphones won’t ship until later this month, but if you’re desperate to see what’s in the box (not in a Se7en kinda way), then rejoice, as the first unboxing videos have surfaced online.

Indian tech channel IntellectDigest (via 9to5Google) has cracked open the packaging for the new Android Marshmallow devices and powered up the 5.2- and 5.7-inch handsets.

As usual, there’s nothing particularly remarkable about these videos, but we do find out the Nexus 6P ships with a Type-C to Type-A USB connector for hooking up to your PC and existing USB power adapters.

The Nexus 5P is missing that cable, but both handsets get a Type-C to Type-C cable in order to hook up to the bundled in wall charger. You can check out both videos below.

Both the LG-built Nexus 5X and Huawei Nexus 6P are available to pre-order now, with Google also offering a $50 Google Play credit with early orders.

Which of the Android 6.0 devices do you prefer? Head down to the comments section and share your favourite. It seems Google already has.
