Now where have we seen this before?

If you're sick of getting things for free on 4oD or perhaps aren't down with those naughty P2P clients it looks like you're in luck. Channel 4 has just agreed a deal with Apple to puts its flagship shows on iTunes UK.

Peep Show (annoying Mac v PC people), Skins (teen-it-wasn't-like-that-in-my-day drama), Black Books (much funnier than it should be comedy) , Teachers (less funny than it was comedy), Monarchy (our royals have always been naughty biography), Spaced (couldn't get into it) and Shameless (didn't even try) are offered as starters with more to follow.

Episodes will be priced at £1.89 and Channel 4 CEO Andy Duncan was understandably chuffed with the whole thing saying "Digital technology transforms our audiences' ability to create, access and engage with our content, making it easier for us to identify the best new British creativity and bring it to a wider UK audience and catalyse a new generation of digital media production companies."

Sounds like a cut and paste for the 4oD announcement to be honest.

So use iTunes. Free = bad. Apparently?
