Yamaha's space-saving home cinema system offers a good range of sound modes and is the ideal solution for those who can't afford or accomodate a full-on home cinema experience. It’s just a shame the YHT-S400 doesn't include extra speaker terminals for those that may want to add rear speakers.

Most, if not all, current TV have a stunning picture but rubbish sound. This sounds like a fantastic way to boost the sound of most TVs. Needs to be a bit cheaper though for this purpose ....
this sounds like exactly what i'm looking for except for one thing. i have a samsung series 8 in the corner of my living room. th picture is great but the sound is pants! I don't have space for a 5.1 so i was thniking either 2.1 or sound bar. the quality of sound you mention on this makes it very attractive. but i have all my dvd, sky boxes in a cupboad below the tv so that built in sub woofer ain't gonna work with my setup damnit! Why oh why couldn't they have just built a seperate sub - ideally a wireless one :-(
just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for a good 2.1 set or sound bar for around £300, or a system with an intergated blue ray for around £450
