How much of a step up is this over the Toshiba 37x3030DB (2007, mid-high end, Full HD model) that I currently possess? Obviously the SD performance is going to be heaps better as it's pretty atrocious on my current set, but what about HD images (which I watch most of the time)? I like Toshiba TVs as they have a minimalist styling, similar to Sony's, but without that hefty price tag. Have the black levels come a long way since 2007?

Sorry to drag up an oldish review. But got one of these as they are down to £400. Hooked up to a Humax Freesat HD PVR. However 'm having trouble hooking up my Sharp Soundbar to it as there is no Audio out connections. At the momment I've got it working via the headphone jacks. Any better ways of doing this. Great TV apart from this
