Oh the joy, you have no idea how trying to find an RF freeview box or RF anything these days is... my Ferguson 3847 black and white portable TV has been longing to bring itself into the 21st century since its first input being a ZX81 in 1980 it has steadfastly provided 28 years of news and drama in its little black and white screen - welcome to the 21st century Fergie!

I bought several of these boxes and none of them work properly with the standby function. Look at their website under "technical issues" as it is a known issue. Their suggested solution doesn't work other than to turn the box off and then on at the plug. Therefore not really very practical.
