The Sony HDR-TG3 is another bold step from Sony, the company which broke HD into the UK market and dominated for the first year or so. The poor low light performance will be a worry if you want to shoot family events in darkened rooms. But for a sub-300g camcorder slim enough to fit in a jacket pocket, the TG3 is an outstanding achievement. Read full review

I recently sold my HV20 and brought one of these TG3s. I have to say it is excellent and for the size its really remarkable. Footage taken between the HV20 and TG3 side by side shows very little difference and having this so portable is just a win win situation for me. Highly recommended!

I need help ; Bought the TG3 ,loving it but am having difficulties geting the footage to my macbook .have filmed in SD . does anyone have any ideas.. I looked at the disc and my computer doesn't want to install software ..


Q. can I just hook up TG3 to my computer and download to imovies ??
