I love my Sansa 6GB... if only it wasn't so buggy. Pull the usb cord out... and all your songs have vanished. At least with CD's and tapes you actually had to abuse them to loose your music... Check the Amazon reviews.

Fixed. Had forgotten (read: had no idea) to put it into MSC mode for files transfer through windows explorer. You do so in the player menu: Settings -> USB Mode -> MSC

Commenting here fixes my problems. I just discovered in Settings -> Volume -> Normal / High
