The wide-angle end of the zoom range is equivalent to 38mm, not terribly wide but about average for a 3x zoom compact.

The telephoto end is equivalent to 114mm, again about average for this type of camera.

Colour reproduction is surprisingly good, coping well with bright saturated colours.

The exposure meter tends to burn out highlights to preserve shadow detail.
