Well spotted, afraid I had the bit in brackets in the wrong place.

It was meant to read: "but usually offers true 1:1, while Wide just fills the screen (which is helped by excellent interpolation)".

That means i can't hope anymore for T260 review? Damn, i really waited for this one.. :) You don't review more than one lcd from the lineup, right? Thanks anyway.

My suggestion - ask for those tuner-equipped HD version. I think many people is looking forward for this review. In today's day, huge affordable monitor with built-in tuner is very interesting option, and this site is all about introducing such stuff.

Avoid this monitor like the plague. It does not support windows 7 and as a result, the best resolution you can achieve is 1280x1024. Unless you want to downgrade back to XP and miss everything that comes with win 7 (directx 11 etc...) go for something that supports win 7.

@knotty150: What? How can a monitor not support an operating system? The two are independent. Me thinks you may have an issue with your computer, most likely its graphics card.

@Ed. I used the wrong word there. The monitor is not compatible windows 7. I'm using a new rig with a gtx 460, have updated drivers for everything etc. Phoned samsung and they actually confirmed its not compatible with windows 7. This thing cost me £140 in March 09, how much you reckon it's worth now?!

Samsung's new "Touch of Colour" design might not work quite as well on its T-series monitors as its LCD TVs, but the SyncMaster T200 is very attractive nonetheless. In the stylish casing comes a TN panel that also impressed despite some conspicuous flaws, and as with most designer monitors, adjustability is limited. If you can live with the drawbacks though, the T200 could be just the thing for everyday use, gaming and movies, and just plain looking good.
